Terms of Service

REMI. is a personal recipe companion web app that helps you save, organise, and cook through your recipes. It uses Anthropic's Claude AI to help extract recipes from URLs and photos, generate new recipes from your descriptions, and suggest ingredient substitutions.

REMI. is a personal project, not a commercial product. It is provided as-is, with no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or continued availability.

To use REMI., you need to provide a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure, as magic links sent to that address grant access to your REMI. account.

You may only create one account per email address. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

You own the recipes and content you add to REMI. We do not claim any ownership over your recipes, notes, or grocery lists.

By using the AI features, you consent to the relevant content (recipe text, images, or prompts) being processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Please do not submit any sensitive personal information through the AI features.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you add — for example, if you are importing a recipe from a third-party website, please respect that site's terms of use.

You agree not to use REMI. for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.

You agree not to attempt to access another user's data, reverse-engineer the application, or use automated tools to scrape or extract data from REMI. at scale.

Recipes and suggestions generated by the AI are produced by Anthropic's Claude AI model. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors — including incorrect ingredient quantities, cooking temperatures, or substitution suggestions.

Always use your own judgement when cooking, especially if you or someone you are cooking for has a food allergy or dietary requirement. REMI. is not liable for any harm resulting from AI-generated recipe content.

We make no guarantees about the availability or uptime of REMI. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Terms — when we do, we will revise the "last updated" date. Continued use of REMI. after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.

REMI. is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of recipe data.

We strongly recommend keeping your own backup of any recipes that are important to you.
