About REMI.

Inspired by Ratatouille—one of my favorite childhood movies—and by a desire to help my mom organise her recipes (both online and handwritten), with some help from my boyfriend who loves building with AI, I created REMI. — a cooking companion designed with my not-so-tech-savvy mom in mind.

Built using Anthropic's Claude AI, this web-based app helps you organise your recipes and guides you through each step of the cooking process—one simple swipe at a time. I wanted to make something intuitive for my mom to navigate, while also giving her the freedom to create new recipes and easily find ingredient substitutions, all in one place—something that hasn't always been easy for her.

I've also added features to improve readability, so everything is clear, accessible, and easy to follow (yes, you can ditch the reading glasses).

This app was made with a lot of love and attention to detail, and I hope it helps you deepen your love for cooking.

After all, food has always been my family's love language.
